Please join us on February 14th to honour the lives of missing and murdered women at the 6th Annual Women’s Memorial March at Simm’s Park on the unceded traditional territory of the K’omoks First Nation.
The February 14th Women’s Memorial March began in 1991 in the downtown eastside of Vancouver. The march was in response to the murder of a Coast Salish woman on Powell Street. Now, 26 years later, we continue to gather on February 14th to remember the sisters that have either been murdered or are missing. Not only does this memorial march take place annually in the DTES, but also across the Country.
Let us come together to grieve the loss of our sisters, remember the women who are still missing and walk together in a good way towards justice!
