Vaillant will read from The Golden Spruce, winner of the Governor General’s award for Non-Fiction in 2005, and his recent novel, The Jaguar’s Children. Set in Mexico, The Jaguar’s Children tells the story of Hector and his friend Cesar, as they leave Mexico for the United States.
